Megaliths

teamLab, 2019/2024, interactive Digital Installation, Sound: Hideaki Takahashi
This artwork is part of a series based on Megaliths in the Bath House Ruins (2019)

Masses of spacetime exist in disarray, and the spacetimes of each mass connect to each other.

Flowers and People, Cannot be Controlled but Live Together – A Whole Year per Hour

The flowers repeat the cycle of life and death and change through the flowers of the year.

If people stay still, the flowers surrounding them will bloom more abundantly than usual. If people move, the flowers in their vicinity will all scatter at once.

The location of the flowers changes or they wither and die due to the influence of other artworks.

Universe of Water Particles

Water begins to flow within the megalith. It is influenced by people's actions and it affects the other artworks.

The water is expressed as a continuum of countless water particles, and lines are drawn in space according to the behavior of these particles. The collection of lines is then flattened using teamLab's Ultrasubjective Space to depict the waterfall.
