At the pixiv festival a giant light blue and white stage (yagura) was constructed to be the symbol of the Festival. Digital screens on all four sides of the stage, display a series of dancing animated GIFs collected from pixiv's newest "UgoIra" (Moving Illustration) feature. Visitors can dance along with hundreds of animated illustrations to the beat of the pixiv Ondo that plays during the festival. A massive handmade pixiv lantern hangs from the third level of the stage, creating a truly fantastic central location for the event.
